I'm looking forward to having zero weekends of Alabama v.Citadel type games this fall
It would also make G5 games a lot more meaningful and fun if they had their own title/playoff system.
In a perfect world, we adopt some form of relegation/promotion system, but that'll never happen.

No it wouldn’t. The best G5 teams have no interest in a G5 playoff.

So what happens to bowl games in this scenario? All the typical 6 win P5 teams would become 3-5 win teams if they can’t get their non-conference wins. I’m not willing to sacrifice a large portion of Bowl season for just to skip the Bama-Citadel games.
