Didn’t even read the link.

I just don’t see this board’s obsession not wearing a mask.

The “don’t tread on muh rights” crowd is extremely insufferable to a majority of the free world.

So being this violent and moronic by approaching someone you say you think may spread Covid while they are eating a burrito on the other side of a fence from you makes sense?

He was outside and eating at the time. Do you wear a mask when you eat?

I agree. But so are the "Look at that person across the street with no mask and a Trump hat on. I'm gonna go tell them they are a racist and selfish prick and throw my drink on them." ....people.

They were eating lunch apparently. Please tell me how you're supposed to eat while wearing a mask.

The majority of the free world gets annoyed when people talk about their rights?

Interesting.

That's more of an indictment on the majority of the free world than on these guys. But being a totalitarian statist, you wouldn't see it that way.

The "obsession" stems from the fact that it is a MANDATED annoyance implemented SOLELY at the arbitrary whim of ONE person (whether that be a governor, or mayor, etc). It's not a law implemented through our legislative process...which is the foundation of our system of government. It is mandated meaning that compliance is not an option. If you want to visit a store, movie, sporting event, etc you are required to wear this useless piece of crap on your face and you don't have the freedom to choose not to.

If you, or anyone else want to wear a mask, feel free. If a private business owner chooses to require customers to wear a mask in order to enter his/her store, by all means do so. But the ARBITRARY mandate by the governor(s)/mayor(s) is fricking absurd. Since when did we as a nation decide it is an elected official's responsibility "ensure our health" rather than allowing free people to do what they have always done, which is conduct their own daily risk assessments?

Finally, NOT ONE of these elected officials have articulated a baseline/data-point/metric which would signify when the MANDATE is no longer necessary. All we get as the basis for the MANDATE is a completely arbitrary and vague "goal" of "stopping the spread." So is this MANDATE going to continue until Covid-19 no longer exists? Because that time may never come. Is there a specific death rate, infection rate, hospitalization rate they are looking to achieve to signify the mandatory wearing of a mask is no longer necessary? If so, then say so!

But then again, maybe you are someone who is more than happy to subject yourself to arbitrary inconveniences SOLELY the discretion of an elected official?
