Didn't get to watch last night's game. How bad was it?

Hell if Ohtani records even one out, it’ll be his best game of the season.
We can’t have that.

That’s pretty accurate. I’ll continue to watch, but I’m not invested in this season. Too much apathy, too much lethargy. As I said last night, I saw three mistakes that an average high school team wouldn’t make, and I missed a few innings:

-Altuve picked off at first (again). A major league player should never be picked at first by a RHP. Ever.
-Tucker throwing to the plate in the sixth. Guy was easily there. The obvious play is to throw to second to keep the guy at first out of scoring position.
-Reddick (I think) does the exact same thing later. Both throws led directly to Angels runs.

There’s just a lack of mental engagement, and I’m going to share that with them starting today.

Preach it

Share the same apathy

But you can see it across the board with all of the games

They really should do everybody a favor and cancel this fraud of a season, and I find it hard to believe I could ever feel this way.

He’s lucky it didn’t happen in the 9th too. Only saved by a terrible pickoff throw

Yeah, I haven’t watched but a few games, been following on the At Bat app.

Went to bed after Reddick hit the HR, then saw we took the lead, and then gave it up

Good points. These are nothing kkore than exhibition games. The fake crowd noise and digital fans are laughable.

Altuve has been a good hitter. He is not a smart baseball player. He has no instincts for the game. He is a terrible baserunner and a poor fielder. And he lacks situational awareness at the plate.

We can’t have that.

The way the lineup has swung the bats, he'll probably throw a complete game.

Glory hound needs a crowd. At least a digital crowd on the road doesn't hate his guts...yet.

Altuve, outside of his hitting and even then he loves to swing at a bat ball, is not a good ball player. Consistently makes mistakes on the base path, subpar arm and subpar defense. That contract is going to be an albatross down the stretch. To think I thought he was going to reach 3,000 hits

Astros place RHP Roberto Osuna placed on the IL due to right elbow soreness and select the contract of RHP Humberto Castellanos, who was on the taxi squad.

We're an injury away from calling up Dennis Quaid
