I'm not a Gates fan, but kudos to him for this.

‘Benefits Outweigh Costs’: Bill Gates Says Kids Should Return To School ‘In Almost Every Location’

Billionaire Bill Gates on Tuesday weighed in on the debate over reopening schools, saying “the benefits outweigh the costs.”
In no uncertain terms, Gates said that kids younger than 13 should return to school “in almost every location.”
“I’m a big believer that for young children, the benefits in almost every location — particularly if you can protect the teachers well — the benefits outweigh the costs,” he said in an interview that aired Tuesday on CNBC‘s “Squawk Box.”

Even Bill can’t deny the fact that since March 3.5 times more children under 15 have died from the regular flu compared to Kung Flu and children don’t transmit the virus like adults.

Hasn't he been more of a health guy than tech guy over the last decade?

Does Gates not understand that the primary concern of every American right now is the physical health of our teachers?
It does not matter if any other person dies while at their job.
We HAVE to keep the teachers alive.

Over the past week I’ve felt like people are starting to wake up

The CDC said this a week ago.

I work out every day and eat a low-fat, high-fiber diet, but I have no formal credentials. I still consider myself a personal health guy.

The "experts" huh? They're all over the place with their opinions "based on science". Everyday the "experts" change their minds.
Want to know the difference between you and BG? One has access to a large audience and 1 doesn't....shite you may know more than him.

quote:Yeah. That's how science works. Reasonable scientists often have different opinions/theories/hypotheses, and they often change as new science happens.

But nothing he does is based on "everyday" changes of mind.
