Best breakfast spot you've been to and where was it?

I'm a big breakfast guy, and have started to travel more, so I'm curious to what your favorite breakfast place is and where's it located?
Mine:
Breakfast Klub in Houston. You'll be waiting in a line wrapped around the building, but it's been worth it every single time I've been.

I feel like breakfast is one those things where I can make most things just as well as a restaurant. I’m not waiting in line to eat bacon, eggs, and grits.
What do you order at these places?

Waffle House. Smothered, covered and chunked.

If you're ever in Lake Charles: Southern Spice, KD's, and Big Daddy's all have great home-style breakfast.

I like breakfast places in other parts of the country to see what others eat besides grits, bacon, eggs. One of the better breakfasts I remember having at a restaurant/diner was at a place in San Diego; I don't think I could do heuvos rancheros like they did

Was it Cocina 35? Really good.

That makes a lot of sense and that’s what I do. I always order something I can’t make at home.

Maybe, it was 2015. We were in the Gas Lamp district, and it was either right there or close. Kind of diner like seating if I remember correctly

Vaughn's Restaurant in Pecan Island (years ago). After a morning in the duck blind, you couldn't beat that breakfast. If you were lucky you got a table by the fireplace.

Penny Anne's Cafe in Salt Lake City, UT. Best pancakes I've ever had anywhere.

Waffle House across from FloraBama. You can't convince me of a better breakfast.

--A full English breakfast, from Terry's Cafe, in the Southwark area of London. Beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon, sausage...the full on grease feast. Bottomless tea, properly brewed, while you sit and listen to the locals rag on each other in amazing accents.
--a bacon naan sandwich from Dishoom (various locations in the UK); bacon, chili jam, cilantro, cream cheese, and freshly baked naan.
--a fresh croissant from Eric Kayser (Paris, NY) or Tartine bakery (SF)....nothing more needed beyond a perfect croissant.

I really want to say the cafeteria at Womack Army Hospital at Ft Bragg. I worked surgery there in another life, a long long time ago. We would walk 100 yards over from the barracks, maybe 5:00 am each day, go up to surgery and set up our room for the day, then go down to the cafeteria.
The cafeteria line had bacon, sausage, porkchops, ham, whatever. Then they had a cook on a big flat top who would ladle out a big portion of eggs onto the top and make an omelet with whatever you wanted. 1 or 2 minutes later, he had it rolled and on your plate with your thin grill fried porkchop and some grits. That, coffee and some wheat toast would fuel you to face whatever cases you had that day. They also had scrambled, fried, hash browns, pancakes, waffles, etc.
Usually only one case after lunch, maybe four for the day, then clean your room, check the schedule for the next day and that was it for the day.
OK, best civilian ever? No competition - Waffle House.

I wish Waffle House would make a little more effort with the cheese on their hash browns than just tossing a slice of American on top. They could just as easily toss some grated cheddar on there and spread it evenly.
