Was informed that I tested positive today, I'm 26 and in decent health so it should just be a nice vacation at home for me.

For any who have had it and lost taste/smell, how quick did you get it back? Not being able to taste food is really getting old.

When did you first notice symptoms?

My sister in law wasn’t feeling well on Sunday — not sure how not well but she tested positive. I texted Monday and she said she felt much better and today she told my husband that really she just didn’t have all of her taste back.

I mean that doesn’t sound all that bad??

My SIL had it, felt like crap for a few days, fine now. Same with my cousin. OTOH I'm familiar with a couple of people, relatively young, relatively healthy, who are having a bad time of it. One is in ICU with his kidneys shut down.

Have you been to Tigerland or a casino lately?

I tested positive back at the beginning of July but thankfully never lost my sense of taste or smell. My main symptoms were nasal congestion with body aches. That lasted for about a week and a half. I was tired as hell like you too. I still don't have my stamina back to what it was before getting sick.

My wife, was asymptomatic and we were both in quarantine for 14 days and I somehow tested negative and showed no antibodies.

I had it in March. Worst symptoms were fatigue and loss of taste for sure. Fatigue lasted a week. My sense of smell/taste didn’t return for almost two months though it sucked.

I’m just coming out of it....went back to work this week. Worst 3 weeks of my life. I had all the symptoms and it sucked. I ended up in the ER about half way through not being able to breath. Full disclosure.....I’m in my 50’s with no underlying conditions.

My 80 yr old grandparents had it and were fine. One of my employees that’s 28 years old and in good had it beginning of last week and it really kicked his arse. He said it was worse than any flu he ever had. It jus affects people differently

Several friends have had it. Said it felt no different than the flu + a few extra days of fatigue. Were all back to normal in about 8-10 days.

Mine came back about 2.5 weeks after being diagnosed. Are you experiencing severe fatigue?

Were you practicing social distancing and still caught it or did you just ignore those warnings? Seriously curious.

Yep, I know over a dozen. One never lost sense of smell but had one day of everything smelling of funk but it cleared up before bedtime. Back at work after 14 days. 3 days no symptoms being criteria to return.

All indications are that inflammation in the vascular system trends more severe. HFCS is one of the top causes of this, and why I don't do energy drinks.
