Kevin Faulk and it’s not close. And then as a Father stayed for his senior season.

5 star was fournette. He was unlike anyone we ever saw. He was in a shitty system and then couldn’t stay 100% healthy. I would choose him star era.

Derek Stingley was an incredible get too, kid is a monster and seems like a good guy. He’s gonna he so rich.

I actually think he's more valuable than Fournette. What does the secondary look like without him last year? Young and lacking generational talent lol

Anthony Johnson was a 5 star, right?
The bar was set pretty high for him.

If you go by LSU and NFL production, then it's Peterson and it's not really close.

If you go by what we saw with our own eyes it’s also Peterson. For some reason LSU fans’ memories have dimmed, and they’ve forgotten that we once had arguably the second best corner to ever play college football (after Sanders). No other LSU corner is close to his dominance.

Stingley might reach that level. He has to correct his technique at the line of scrimmage. His tendency is to turn his hips too soon when pushed directly backwards. He needs to stay in his backpedal for another step or two and let the receiver turn him. Clemson’s Terrell, while not at Stingley’s talent level, perfectly exhibited that technique. He stayed square and, when the receiver chose a side, he put his opposite hand on the receiver letting the receiver turn him out of his backpedal.

I’m confident, with his work ethic, Stingley will show that improvement when next we see him in P&G.

We obviously can’t predict the future but Arik Gilbert may end up being the best of them all

pure excitement when the player signed

Gunner Keil

What a roller coaster that was. Huge, 5-star QB commitment, and then he enrolls at another school three weeks later, unannounced.

Kiel: "Hello?"
Miles: "Gunner! It's Les!"
Kiel: "Hey Coach."
Miles: "You were supposed to enroll today, where y'at?"
Kiel: "Heading to class."
Miles: "Where?"
Kiel: "Uh, Notre Dame."
Miles: "..."
Kiel: ¯\_(?)_/¯

Look at the quoted text by the poster of the bolded quote again. Maybe you'll get the joke.

If you average the recruiting service player rankings Stingley is the top LSU recruit ever. I was surprised by this when I saw it. Fournette was definitely the most heralded...

He's requested the state to recognize him as Patrick Peterson. Why do you refuse that? He's probably done more for LSU than anyone you've ever known yet you won't refer to him by his chosen name? Grow up. Learn respect.

And to the OP... You are dead on... Stingley might be the best yet!!! crazy

Because when we recruited him his name was Patrick Johnson. He didn’t change his name until he got to LSU.

Why so sensitive?
