Superdome trying out a potential new sponsorship partner?

H&E is a Baton Rouge-based equipment rental service with 100+ locations in 23 states. Would be nice to have a Superdome sponsor with Louisiana ties

From Mercedes Benz to a BR based equipment rental company should be a fireable offense for somebody.

This could just be part of a pitch presentation.

I’m not exactly understanding the hate if it ends up being a local state based company like them. Seems like a very odd thing to hate on.

Local equipment rental business doesn't exude bigtime and 1st class. That would be a fine sponsor for the Lakefront Arena but if they're trying to promote the Superdome as an iconic location that sponsor wouldn't be it. That is humongous stepdown from a global brand like Mercedes Benz. And considering MB basically dropped the Dome for Atlanta's new building it would not be a great look.
Hopefully thats just some test signage.

Not exactly like New Orleans and Louisiana for that matter have a lot of glitzy and glamorous big time businesses

It doesn't have to be local and probably shouldn't be for that reason. THE only NFL stadiums more iconic don't have naming rights at all because they're so iconic. But if they're going to sell the naming rights don't cheapen yourself. H&E isn't even a brand where they could tout community pride like the Pels can with the Zatarain's patch.

H&E is a 3rd rate equipment rental company who is more of a joke in the industry.
It would be like Mc Donald’s and BK passing and they get Rally’s.

I can see John going for this, he’s a savvy businessman and looking to grow the brand.
