re: WH ignored report about pandemics

So this report was just a general warning about a pandemic, not specifically a warning about the looming threat of COVID-19 (Which didn’t exist when the report was created). What was the White House supposed to do with a broad report that came out right before COVID-19 started? It sounds like it didn’t give them a specific threat to respond to.

Celtic's disingenuous lies continue to plague his narrative
Not this pandemic. A yet to be named pandemic. One of hundreds of reports generated by hundreds of various Federal agencies over the last 50 years.
So, he wrote a report about the influenza, not a corona virus....lets look further
He wrote a paper about the FLU and VACCINES. This is NOT apples to apples. Also, he advocated increasing investment with private industry, EXACTLY what we are doing right now
so, he acknowledges that not every recommendation is taken as gospel
In fact many administrations in the past ignored?
wow, so he left a whopping 60 days early? Because he didnt get his way??
This is just more propaganda bullshite from the Marxists

production technologies are unlikely to mitigate these losses. We estimate the value of new
vaccine technologies that would make vaccines available more quickly and likely improve their
effectiveness in moderating the risks of pandemics. We discuss why private market incentives
may be insufficient to develop new vaccine technologies or promote the uptake of existing,
faster but more expensive technologies, despite their large expected value to society. And we
argue that increased utilization of, and investment in, these new technologies—along with
public-private partnerships, to spur innovation—may be valuable to decrease the impact of
both pandemic and seasonal influenza.

How many reports and briefings a day do you think the government gets?
I bet you can find an example of any office ignoring a report on anything if you wanted to.
Doesn’t make it evidence of some malicious purposeful ignorance. That’s a logical fallacy.

what a load of bullshite. why hasn't he released his detailed notes and about his studies with the Sars like viruses. Where are his notes and what strains of Sars was he looking into? post his data study notes so I can read through them you hack.

So the President is being briefed about a random scenario in which there was no impending threat and he didn’t give it his 100% attention? And I’m supposed to be mad?
I’m sure there’s reports on what possibilities and ramifications of Argentina invading Chile but I’m not going to fault Obama for not paying 100% attention.

A PHD quit because the institution didn’t focus on his material more than anyone else’s and didn’t confirm his study as special and amazing?
Doesn’t sound like damning evidence. Happens everyday.

STFU you propagandist.
Fauci went on CNN in late January, 2020, and told the world that the whole USA has NOTHING to worry about WRT C19.
But keep carrying the water of your Master and agitating for Marxism. In the long run, it will work. But don't YOU take the credit, you worthless POS, because it will be the Leftist takeover of academia and mass media that did all the work.

Your condescension is a bit ironic. (1) Your article has the economist stepping down in June 2020, not November 2019, as you claim. (2) you paint a broad brush with your “covid-type viruses”, as his report was on influenza viruses. That distinction matters, as the egg production method for influenza vaccines doesn’t work for COVID. Accordingly, everyone has been devoting billions to alternative mass production methods for months, but as of now, we still don’t have an approved vaccine to mass produce for market. (3) You say the economist resigned due to inaction, but Trump signed an executive order on this exact issue in September 2019.
Executive Order on Modernizing Influenza Vaccines
Is this an annihilation?
Because it sure looks like an annihilation.

Millions have gotten sick and 100s of thousands have died around the world. Few countries have much to brag about. Few leaders can say they stopped COVID cold. Free societies were especially at risk. Why idiots think a president, any president could stop this thing cold boggles my mind.
Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan, even Singapore.
Compare their rates, population density and elderly rates to the US. 295 deaths in South Korea, 22 in New Zealand, 27 in Singapore. Relatively speaking, they stopped it cold. Their leaders were prepared and part of the solution.
Why does it boggle your mind to expect the same of a leader with comparably limitless resources?
Instead, we get this. Today, Trump said: ""I will be right eventually. You know, I said, 'It's going to disappear.' I'll say it again. ... It's going to disappear, and I'll be right,"
While we've experienced exponential growth of cases, this is at least the 15th time he's said something like "it'll go away."
The first time was when there were 5 cases.
In March, with 170k cases, he said it'll go away "hopefully at the end of the month."
In April, over 1M cases, don't need masks and "It's going to go away."
In May, with 1.5M: "It'll go away."
In June, with 2.2M: "It'll fade away."
July 1, with 2.8M: "We're headed back in a very strong fashion and I think we're going to be very good with the coronoavirus."
July 19, with 3.8M: "I will be right eventually."
That's the polar opposite of leadership.

Keep it up liberals. You think things are bad now wait till you take over with Biden as President and a liberal congress. Look in the mirror and thank yourself for killing millions more than this virus will. Don't think for a minute you will be spared. You will be part of the down size of our population. Liberals are just using you till they don't need you anymore.

If you think the difference is response is what’s driving the different outcomes, you’re a fricking idiot.

cnn had nothing to do with it.
but keep trying. its ok to need help.
Coronaviruses have been around for thousands of years and no government administration in the US, Democrat or Republican, or anywhere else in the world for that matter, has ever developed a vaccine for one.
Now we are dealing with a new coronavirus and once again the current administration along with every other administration in the world, has not developed a vaccine for this current coronavirus?
And somehow the logical part of your mind says this worldwide history of never having developed a coronavirus vaccine is Trump's fault alone?

All Asian nations. There’s a reason for that. Five of the six are small islands. The fact is the US had little in common with those six nations. We are more diverse, more independent and have an entirely different culture.
Compare us with more diverse nations, nations of the west and nations with a lot of mixing.
