My mother's, aunt, third cousin from her second marriage said BLM was coming to Ascension to protest at the corner of Burnside and Airline and then burn down the CVS.

The event will be a supportive and peaceful vigil in solidarity of the Black Lives Matter movement. We will be occupying the medians of Kenilworth subdivision on July 18th from 9am to 11am. In order to keep a safe distance and avoid the spread of COVID-19 we are asking attendees to wear a mask and spread-out on medians. We also ask that attendees park at either Kenilworth High School, Olympia Park, or on side streets in accordance with all East Baton Rouge Parish traffic laws. No parking on private property. Attendees are encouraged to bring signs, live stream, and post to social media using the hashtag #BLMSBR (Black Lives Matter South Baton Rouge). Bottled water will be provided.
Please direct any questions to the group admins. We look forward to making this a productive peaceful protest that furthers the Black Lives Matter national movement on a local level.

Well, I guess my friend was right. I had my doubts too.

I hope the Jeep club people that ride in the Kenilworth parades also decide to show up. Merely for my entertainment.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who heard about the BLM protest at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

All the cars will be slowly backed into parking spots though. Not relevant at all but an observation.

Is someone gonna tell them that this school does not exist?

It already is. One dude said "why are you bringing them to our hood? While you're protesting they are going to break into our homes and burn shite down"
