Literally NOTHING in that link said anything about LSU supporting the Black Lives Matter organization. The words were at the top of the page and in another portion said in response to the Black Lives Matter protests.
Yall talk about the sheep but yall are the sheep!
While Im black and know this is a ploy to be an attractive seemingly more progressive minded university, for most blacks, LSU will never be that, even those who attend.
But hey, yall dont want us to be welcomed, they make it all white and see how you football team does then. Cause supporting the idea of Bkack Lives Matter, is not wrong of the university and thats all that page said. It did not adopt the ideals of any platform ir organization.

have no problem with the phrase "black lives matter". I DO have a problem with the Black Lives Matter organization. As far as I can tell from the link provided in the OP, the latter is not present.
Do you have a problem with what is on the website though?

Absolutely. These things don't contradict each other. In fact, I would say weak moderate moderate conservatives and weak middle class white people in in the midwest is what gets Trump elected.
They may be silenced but their votes are private and still count. Many swing voters vote for Trump as a way to say FU to it all. Trump is not the problem. He's the symptom.
Ma'am, have you gone full retard? You never go full retard...

Let’s make black athletes enter college under the same requirements as the rest of the student body and see what happens .......College football would turn as white as the Norwegian ice skating team.

Please give us some ideas that would make LSU more progressive in your mind
What is the % of Americans are black between the ages of 18-23?
What is % of black students at LSU?

Typical liberal BS. I don't like a marxist/terrorist organizaion, and don't want a public university to support it by using it's name on their website...and that means "Y'all don't want us to be welcomed".
Well, no, you're not welcome if you are a BLM marxist/communist/rioter and looter, which is what BLM supports and promotes. This has nothing to do with race as whites and blacks support this evil movement.
If you don't want LSU to promote the Klan, is it correct for me to preach that you don't like white people?
Cut the crap. LSU is promoting a hate based movement. Speaking out against that means we don't support violence, rioting, assault, blackmail (no insult intended), and marxism. It has nothing to do with whether you're welcomed to LSU or not.
ETA: And progressive to me means color blind, NOT color focused. The sooner we move past this race BS, the better off we will all be.

The posters over on the tRant do not want to believe any of this. They want to “leave politics out of sports,”.
Of course they’ll post something idiotic and end it with that smiley face waving an LSU flag thinking by doing that they are free of criticism.

Tom Galligan will be remembered as the guy that drove LSU financially off a cliff. His model for change won’t work as it will clearly alienate a large share of those that support the university, departments and athletics.
Most people don’t have a fundamental issue with opportunity that is truly equal for all. Blatantly tipping the scales in one direction to correct a perceived wrong under the guise of blm and allowing admissions “exceptions”, widely curving grades, etc. will only serve to negatively impact the academic quality of a university that has never been considered elite .
I think they fail to see how easy it is to walk away with your financial support.

Where was this said?
What we don't want is a Marxist anti family organization being promoted by a flagship university.
Do not want them picking sides and given preferential treatment. That means someone has to be put down to elevate someone else. That also tends to water down academics.
You mentioned football.. so you would be ok if they said there were too many minority DBs on the football team. Since the population of whites are 75% we need 3/4 of them to be white. Nothing to do with being the best at their position...a pretty obvious position where black players have on "lockdown"...pun intended.
How would that work out? Does LSU win the national championship? Just sticking people out there based on numbers in hopes they work out?
I'm am for the best. If the best person to teach, etc is a minority then great! My education is better.
Iron sharpens iron.
