Also as far as message it's not a comfort thing but a hypocrisy thing. All black lives don't matter equally to BLM and it's supporters. If they did black areas would consistently be some of the safest places across the country for blacks. They also would be tearing down Planned Parenthood locations and walking away from Democratic Party for blindly supporting an organization founded by a known racist wanting to limit growth of black population (and probably should be forcing a name change for the Democratic Party as well with its history).
