This is what I don't understand. When someone is mean to a black person, why can't said black person just say, "Hey that guy is a real dickhead." Why is everything freaking racist?

Some people are good people and are nice people. Some people are dickheads and are mean people. That's just the way the humans are, and that's just the way the world is.

Not everyone who is mean to you is a freaking racist.

They just want to jump the line to the top. Move whitey out of the way.

Yeah there's no accountability.

If someone doesn't like you it's because of the color of your skin.

Not because maybe you're awful yourself or not cut out for the job or you have awful ideas or opinions.

Looking at you Jemelle.

Actually he really might be gone..

ESPN may fire Dave LaMont after slip up during race relations call - New York Post

quote:

ESPN has explored letting LaMont go even after he admitted the mistake immediately following the call to his bosses.

quote:

“A comment was made to my wife that was overheard on the college football call, offending some who heard it,” LaMont said in a statement to The Post. “We have a racially integrated home and I respect and admire those who spoke up about their experiences. I profusely apologize to everyone on the call.”

Hahahahaha. Sorry Dave, but you have to die for our cause.

This whole thing is absolutely fricking insane.

“It was such a slap in the face,” Taylor said in an interview. “When I was in it, that was horrible. But now, looking back, it was an awakening moment. This is part of our culture. There are people that feel this way.”

So... this can't be true??

I'd love to hear more about how a 33 year old with a prominent job at the worldwide leader is being held back and discriminated against.

It sounds like the only correct course of action is to shut down ESPN and of course Disney for allowing this to happen under their watch

This is what happens when you give jobs to people that they don't deserve and are not qualified for. It creates a sense of entitlement that then leads to them demanding promotions and raises. I'm glad Disney's/ESPN's virtue signaling is coming back to bite them in a big way.

Put his name on an NBA jersey, he's a victim of racism.

LaMont said, while on thought-to-be-mute, people are just venting. That's a long way from "griping".

I read all the comments on the NYT article. What a mess we have in this country. When you lie down in a bed of identity politics, you wake up with woke fleas. ESPN is a mess.
