Bought one a few months ago with an extra 30rd mag and 100rds. $800 out the door. Awesome rifle for the price

I have one and it’s still one of my favorites. I added a less expensive picatinny railed hand-guard and added a few things like lighting and laser. Works great.

More than you can use.

If you look around at the situation today with the mobs,
anyone engaging them at more than a few feet will likely be prosecuted, especially if you have a blue D.A.

It seems like unless they are right on you or coming right at you from a few feet away, you won't be able to claim self defense.

If you start picking off the mob from 100 meters away, that won't end well for you.

Shotgun is plenty legit for the job at hand until we get to the outright Bosnian Civil War scenario.

How do you fire that Shockwave? From the hip, or push-pull?

When most people talk about a folding stock they’re talking about a firearm that still functions with the stock folded. You can’t do that with a standard AR, as I said.

Will you sell it to Biden, register it with Biden, or hide it?

Got one with a red dot a month or so ago. With ammo and an extra 30rd mag, $850 even. A bit over priced, but things are crazy these days. I like and am ready to take it back out again.

Also picked up a Stoeger 12 GA semi-auto. Very nice.

I’m not sure how you’d hit anything with it at the hip.
how would you know where the muzzle is pointed?

that thing looks useless unless unless you pay the tax and put a shoulder stock on it. Or, do it anyway and keep it out of sight

Off-hand (hand on front stock)- Hand inside the strap, arm straight out, elbow locked.

Shooting hand will be about 10 inches in front of your face. Look down the barrel, using the bead to aim.

Recoil- if you keep that arm locked, it rocks you back at the shoulder some, and you get about 2 inches of movement. Scary until you get used to it, but keep your arm locked and you keep your teeth.

Even better idea... use that technique, combined with an Opsol insert, and mini-shells. Recoil drops to about an inch. Capacity goes from 5 to 8.

To pump, you shove your shooting hand forward, leave your off-hand arm straight.

I’m gonna go ahead and assume that broken teeth and facial injury is an occupational hazard for many people using that technique

especially in a dark hallway with the adrenaline pumping.
no thanks

ETA I looked it up, mossberg actually recommends shooting from the hip with that thing, likely for liability reasons. Good luck hitting anything like that

Opsol adapter. Minishells. I've got them, it makes a BIG difference. Sure, you might say the shells are "underpowered", but for defensive distances, still PLENTY good enough.

Picked one up on Gunbuyer in mid March for $525 just a few hours before they hiked all the prices by 30-40% or so due to the COVID panic. I’ve been extremely pleased with it. It’s cycled everything I’ve put through it without a hiccup and is plenty accurate for whatever I’d realistically ever use it for.

I think Mrgunsngear did a review on the shockwave and he was surprised at how usable it was (I’m relying on my memory here). It doesn’t really interest me but he’s one of the better gun channels on YouTube, so if he said it’s actually pretty decent I would trust that if I was in the market for one.

You thrust it out like you would a spear or bayonet stab, and then you keep your arm straight. Choke that front grip tight.

Watch this YT video LINK

Here's Hickok shooting both the Shockwave, and the Remington Tac 14. At around 9:30 or so, he demonstrates the Shockwave with the minishells.
LINK
I know, he's a bigger dude, but notice how easy he's shooting that, and with 8 shots in the tube.
