quote:According to LSU, sports is now political. I would love for sports to just remain being sports. Tell LSU to get its sports department out of projecting politcal messages for a black marxist terrorist organization instead of giving those of us who complain about it your ignorant advice. They are the ones pushing this upon all of us, not me. If you are happy with this, fine, but don't expect others who find this offensive to play along.

Same here. I can do without sports if its just going to be used as a platform to spew communist propaganda. I do think a majority of "black lives matters" casual supporters like LSU and LSU players, and apparently some in this thread, have no clue who/what is behind it and think its only about racial equality.

If Dale Brown is the mole, and I am leaning towards believing it, the hypocrisy would be astounding.
He cheated and fought the ncaa his whole career, to the point of tanking the program he built. No doubt he's bitter over it. This would be strictly about backstabbing WW, not about compliance or looking out for the program.
There has always seemed to be a beef between Dale and WW. Im assuming Dale didn't want WW here, and WW probably gave him the cold shoulder once he got here. (compare to how he treats John Brady). This seems like an extreme response just for not being put on a pedestal by the new coach, but these guys do have egos and thin skin so there might be something to it. Maybe more behind the scenes.
These are the facts we do know:
Dale and Vitale are close.
Dale and WW are not at all.
Vitale has been leaking info (true or false, who knows at this point) at the most inopportune times to undermine WW's recruiting.
Vitale has shown a curious dislike for WW personally, not against the LSU program, meanwhile overlooking other coaches who are accused of much worse, and with more proof.
Vitale has hinted that his "source" is around the LSU program and goes back 40 years.

But you, the MAGAcon, has it all figured out, right?

LSU has shown no affiliation with Black Lives Matter. You people are legitimately crazy.

I would wager I know more about their real "cause" than the average BLM "protester " does. but I don't want to derail this thread any more, so prob should be in another if you want to discuss. Or keep on being a useful idiot, your call.

How do you know this???????

Because I’ve read & seen all the messages they have put out. And to anyone not fueled by insecurity, it’s all pretty damn clear.

You might want to sit down for this mind blowing nugget
The statement, black lives matter, does not mean affiliation with the group, Black Lives Matter.
It takes very little brain power to process that, but hey, here we are.

I was waiting to see how you would spin that. You did not disappoint.

There isn't even a hashtag on the video board. There is nothing at all to suggest that they are advertising for any group at all other than LSU. It's just a statement. You're looking for things to get upset about.

Feel free to show me any affiliation with the group.
Whether it’s through support through the media, donations, or demonstrations.

Some of these guys are acting as if LSU is out here organizing protests, supplying players with propaganda, holding sign making parties and inciting riots.
Posted on 7/10/20 at 9:05 am to TigerLunatik
I mean they even had a rally, and it was made clear who organized it, and nowhere did it say anything about a black lives matters group lol
Posted on 7/10/20 at 9:09 am to Lester Earl
Even if they were the ones organizing the protests, the protests in Baton Rouge were/have been peaceful. I think that's something to be proud of even if someone doesn't agree with the reason for protesting.

Please don't turn Tiger Rant into the Poli Board or the Saints Talk board... Both are unbearable no matter what side of the spectrum you are on.

Get this shite outa here.

Dale bought players left and right

You can support a cause without supporting organizations, it’s baffling to me how some cannot comprehend this...I don’t support any political organization.
