Because he's the idiot he claims me to be.

I'd be impressed if you could actually learn how to refute an argument, rather than just post one liners. That's probably harder for you though, since you have such limited brain capacity.
Im sorry, I can't hear you over you groveling to Daddy John Bel for permission to go to Walmart.

We will celebrate our independence this weekend by being told how to live

Because you all spew the same shite every single day, and continue to move the goal posts every day. If you can't see the trend then anything I say won't sway your narrow views.

Two staff and one resident positive in last two days at my facility. We were 100% negative 4 weeks ago, retesting everyone this week. I just went and had another nasal swab done. fricking hell.

A spike in cases just doesn’t matter if people aren’t being hospitalized or dying.
Yup.
The more important issue at this time is getting people to stay careful. Hospitalization is rising in Lafayette, Lake Chuck and Shreveport, but falling in BR and NO. Folks in the more rural areas need to act a little more responsibly and we will be in really good shape.

That is literally the definition of what you are doing.

Graphs are subjective.
Raw data is not subjective.
Unless you are insinuating that the op is artificially deflating the death and hospitalization numbers.

What is the death rate down to now?

I don’t think you really understand how this is all working. After 3.5 months one would think you would

We are moving the goalposts? Are you serious? Everyone except you has simply paid attention to hospitalizations, vent use, and deaths as right now we have no cures so the only thing we can focus on is hospital capacity. That’s been the entire reason for the lock downs was to protect the hospitals.
Let me say this very loudly for you:
THIS LATEST APIKE IN CASES IS NOT SHOWING THAT IT WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO OVERWHELM THE HOSPITALS.
Hell, they don’t even need to use the surge capacity that would add substantial capacity at the current trend.

Tuesday dump on a Wednesday.
That's a bold strategy, let's see how it plays out.

Depends on how you look at it.
If you simply look at confirmed positives to supposed confirmed deaths, it’s 5%.
If you follow the antibody tests and assume about 10x the confirmed cases, it would be .5%.

They are now testing every Monday at my Grandpas nursing home
They haven’t had any new cases in over a week
Good luck

Not sure of the amount of testing, but the numbers from Calcasieu Parish are crazy. Calcasieu had 429 positives reported today. There were only 1,300 before today.

Region 4 is looking at their surge plan again in the event that the hospitalization numbers keep rising, but there is no plan to put it in effect at this time. Just heard this mentioned this morning. But like I said, they do not see it as needed right now. Just keeping everything current as they are required to do.
