Hate to ask a stupid question, but I still haven’t cut the cord, but I’m wondering if I got YouTube TV, how could I get it on my bedroom tv?

Buy a Roku stick or something like that.

Any streaming device or many smart tv's can use the youtubetv app. It's super easy. I use it on AppleTV and a Firestick that I have. I'll continue to avoid COX or Directv or Dish, because the ease of cancelling and switching is worth not dealing with their shite customer service and hidden fees.

We have it and use it almost exclusively for sports. Perhaps we should cancel.

Awesome. How much is your Internet without cable? Mine is like $75 with the cable.

Iv'e been rolling with Philo for a few months now. No sports which obviously doesn't matter right now but has pretty much every other channel I would want @ 20/mo. Good interface and stable, never buffers.

Philo is awesome for the price and with no sports right now it is the perfect option. Cancelled Youtube yesterday and will rock philo for a few months then sling when football starts for a few months

I'm disappointing to see such a big jump after I (a) switched to YoutubeTV because of the price and (b) didn't really give a shite about not having the Viacom channels when I did switch. Really, the only newly added channel I watch is comedy central and not having it for the last 8 months or so since I switched wasn't a big deal.

I'll stay with them for now because even at $65 per month the overall experience is FAR better than dealing with Cox. But, unfortunately, we all knew/know the ala carte model was going to eventually line up with traditional cable pricing.

Just cancelled my YouTube TV account. Hopefully they see the mass cancellations and lower their price.

Unfortunately we don't have an a LA carte model. If we did, I'd have like 6 channels.

Yeah the a LA cart model would put an end to 80% of the channels we are forced to take with cable, streaming services, etc...

For right now, I'll eat that $15
I joined YTTV this past January because my Cox Bundle bill was $185 and they couldn't lower it when I called and threatened to leave ($75 for internet and $80 for cable. The rest was box rental, fees, etc..)
Cox has the same bundle for $75 total on their site right now, but I know that will jump to $180 after 12 months
So $150 (YTTV and internet) vs $180 Cox bundle, I still come out cheaper with YTTV and I get more channels I don't get with Cox (ESPNU, Disney Jr, etc..)

Not to mention having to call Cox and deal with them.

Philo is a tremendous option. I was about to start YTTV and Philo as welll since Philo had Nick Jr. which is a God send for my kid who loves Paw Patrol. Now that Youtube TV is getting those channels that I liked on Philo I'm actually saving money by keeping Youtube TV and getting rid of Philo. So instead of paying $70 when Youtube was $50 and $20 for Philo I'm now paying $65. So it is basically a wash in the end.

Knew this was coming but not a +$15 hike. Damn.

IIRC the last increase built in leeway to add new channels without increasing the price every time. Hopefully that’s the same here.

How can you watch Philo on a Samsung Smart TV? Do you have to get Roku or a Firestick?

I cancelled within 10 minutes of reading the OP but I still have DTV waiting on the contract to run out. I will reevaluate when it does.

You people who are cancelling, what are you going to and is it comparable to YTTV? I’m still well below what I paid for cable so I guess I’m not as concerned for now, but I love the interface, DVR, mobile access, etc so I don’t want to give that up for something inferior just because it’s cheaper.

Will be moving to fubo in a few weeks because they have the Astros games and they just announced addition of ESPN channels coming this summer. If if cost is same as YTTV it's a win because of the Astros games.

I've had FUBO for a year because of the Astros and it has been great. Getting ESPN is even better because I can use JUST FUBO and not have to get something else to get ESPN anymore. Win Win.

... actually, I did live out in the sticks back in 1994 and signed up with DirectTV --- early stage customer
So early, my customer acct number was around the three-hundred-teens .
But I did not pay 350 million
