a few thoughts

1. this is obvious bullshite, Karen is celebrating on facebook...

2. I WILL test this; Alabama AG did state that the state would not stand for fines or actual jail time to be enforced (Bham has not been enforcing)

3. on the occasions that I wind up being forced to mask up, I will ALWAYS keep my nose uncovered

so sick of this shite

Jefferson County encompasses most of the nicer areas of metro Bham including: Mt Brook; Vestavia; Hoover; Homewood; Trussville; etc..

Moving forward, I will do most of my shopping in Shelby County when I can...

If the suburbs could somehow break away and form a new county, Jefferson would die within a month.

Luckily I drive outside the county for work I’ll be getting all my stuff there. Won’t be going to bars or restaurants in Jefferson County either

Nope. Not gonna wear the fear badge. I’ll be aware and try to stay away from elderly or clearly compromised people. I’m not going to try to be an arse about it. But I’ll bet they won’t give me the same courtesy. The survival rate is what? 98-99%? I’m not seeing the need for mask, shutdowns, etc., etc. I know some of you will disagree. Ok. Show me the stacks of bodies. Or the “fridge” trucks full of bodies. Or the hospitals or clinics over run or even full staffed for that matter. I’ve been in two local hospitals in the last two months for multiple days. The staffs there were befuddled by what they were seeing on the news. Good troopers they were, they wouldn’t bad mouth their bosses. They did frown about all the lay offs of their friends BECaUSE THERE WAS NO CRUSH. I’m just saying what everybody is starting to figure out now. This is a political weapon. And they’ll use it to the fullest no matter what the cost. And they have made fools of some people. It’s the most impressive scam I’ve ever seen.

Sounds like you would be a better fit in Walker County.

WBRC had an interview with 3 people this morning about the new facemask rule.

1 - Had a facemask around her neck wanting to know why people were so inconsiderate in not wearing one.

2 - Zero masks saying they don't understand why people won't do it.

These are fricking tards that think the virus is going to call a full court press at 5 pm today.

That damn cuck from JCDH just wants to prove he has the power to do this.

1. I fully respect and support any private business’s decision to not let anyone in without a mask, even if I disagree.

2. I do not respect or support the Jefferson County Health Department pretending that’s the entire county is their own private business.

Thankfully, I live very near the Shelby County line. I will be doing business there for the foreseeable future. It has sucked not being able to go to our favorite places in Birmingham. I guess now I'll have to avoid the ones near the house too.

This Jefferson County Health office clown has to go. How can it possibly be legal that an un-elected official can unilaterally shut businesses down and forcibly make people wear masks?

My mom lives out in Leeds. She's in Jefferson County but St Clair County is literally across the street. The stupidity of her having to wear a mask on one side of the street and not on the other side kills me. fricking absurd.

Is your nose your best feature? Or is there some other consideration that makes you want to do this?

I expect most likely ivey is probably gonna enforce a statewide mask order. it would be career suicide to announce the state is shutting back down on fourth of july week

however karens on facebook are already crying for her to shut back down I read where alabama is going to listen to advice from the CDC on how to corral its spread
