A quarter million covid deaths and a wrecked economy?
I thought we were supposed to either suffer economic damage or have a health crisis. We've managed to be incompetent enough as a country to do both.
And like it or not people will blame Trump and they're not terribly wrong to do so. He's been completely inept the whole time.

Trumps biggest accomplishments have been economic.
He also has always driven a very us vs them campaign. To be fair both sides have.
He just hasn’t been able to turn it off and provide real leadership during Covid, and I think he is losing ground on the BLM stuff.

The trick is that whether the economy is "open" or "closed", it will be miserable until people feel safe in proximity to each other and they can't do that until COVID is minimized...
