We didn’t have pandemics in the 80’s. Ronald Reagan would have never put up with that shite.
But Fred’s on a Wednesday? Forget about it. That patio was a wall to wall saliva, sweat, and random bodily fluids exchange. And I’m not too proud to admit that I made out with a chick or two whom I didn’t even know on the dance floor at Cilly’s.
Good times.

Other than sweat and saliva, what other fluids were exchanged on the patio? I was there in the 90’s so perhaps I am naive to what went on in the 80’s

Oh AIDS definitely wouldn’t have been a problem in tigerland. But there were certainly pandemics under old Ronnie

Tigerland needs to be levelled! It is a horrible college bar area and is super dangerous.....

Anybody remember the slogan on cups and coozies from Cilly’s: “ Drunk at Cilly’s”? How about Snorkels, The Tiger and my favorite hangout - Sports or “Sports Illustrated”. Not sure how they got away with that copyright infringement. How ‘bout pissin’ in the sink @ The Tiger. Dollar Busch longnecks on Friday and Saturday nights @ Sports and Beat the Clock. Good times, back when we were all more innocent and it was much safer to move freely in and out of college bars.
