Serious opinion: in terms of which players would be more desired than Pulisic, I would say Kante and Kepa are ahead of him.

But seriously though, if the only other player you can make an argument for is Kante, that tells you how good Pulisic is.
I know we as Americans are jaded as frick when it comes to having real bonafide stars that are American, but we need to start realizing that Pulisic is on a path that could lead to him becoming a top 15 player in the world.

De Gea took a while to find his feet also. I’ve always hoped kepas progression would follow a similar path. Getting benched for caballero has to be embarrassing though. We can’t really afford to replace him right now even if we wanted to. Willie is getting old even for a keeper.

Kante is their best player imho.
After that...it is either him or Willian. Ironically, they have played quite well off of each other.
Giroud is the most underrated imho. He has been a 1st rate professional illustrating great leadership. He has been a superb target up top that plays with his back to the goal and distributes beautifully.
Outside of that, Chelsea is quite young or pretty average / shite (the back line and keeper).
