Is that Lawman ammo worth a crap for target shooting?

Absolutely. Speer makes Gold Dots, which are some of the finest self-defense rounds you can buy. It's what I load into all my handguns. They run somewhere around 80 or so cents a round.

Their Lawman ammo line is intended to closely match the performance and the ballistics of their SD and police duty ammo but with a lower cost bullet so you can get the feel of the SHTF ammo while practicing without paying SHTF ammo prices.

I made an ammo order from Bass Pro like late February, early March, several calibers, used my points. I was pissed because nowhere in the check out process did it indicate that there would be shipping delays or backorder.
To date, I still have not received my 9mm or 00Buckshot portion of the order.
It has been shipped in phases and I keep getting a "sorry for the delay" email.
It kinds pisses me off that they let me complete my order, then basically hold my shipment hostage. Good thing these were just extra rounds and I am not in a hurry

I picked up a case of Gold Dot 124gr LE Duty for $399, or approx 40 cents a rd. That's 50% off.
Targetsportsusa, end of May (5/29, to be exact). Someone on another forum posted the deal, and there seemed to be some mention in the reviews about "end of month sales pricing". This was already in the reviews when I ordered, so apparently they (Targetsports) have run that deal before.
I have mine, don't need more for awhile... but it would be worthwhile to watch and see what happens. I just checked and no deals yet, but it's only the 26th.

Yeah, I read the reviews, they (BP) have been butchered for that.

I can only tell you- early May, I ordered some Federal 9mm, on the 3rd from them.
I ordered some Herter's from Cabela's on the 17th of May.

I got the Cabela's order in 4-5 days, got the Bass Pro order in about 24 days. But both came.
Both orders show up in my Bass Pro account history, I think I made it when I ordered.

I placed the current order due to an advertised deal, and it's out for delivery today. Going to be 4 days.

I wonder if it's the "Herter's" deal that accounts for the fast shipping? Herter's is a rebrand, it's supposedly Winchester. I'd think that is a very large contract they placed, stocking the Bass Pro and Cabela's instead of local individual shops (think of the Walmart principle).
It might be the only thing they have ready.

Gunbot indicates that many, many site have 9mm available. But I was not able to find anything in stock other than a few sites with high dollar critical defense ammo. Is that site always inaccurate?

I used to be good but the last few times I used it I had the same experience. Try ammoseek

I just got my case of Herter's today. Ordered it 4 days ago. I think Bass Pro has figured it out, and probably the newer orders will go through smoother.

For searches, I use gundeals, wikiarms, ammoseek. I set notifications on certain things (ie, brass 9mm at/under 16 cents a rd; 22lr at/under 5 cents), so I get a txt if something hits that mark.

I also use gunwatcher- that is where I located the AR 15 I bought. That store never showed up on gundeals.

Anywhere you ever bought from, go back and sign into your acct, and make sure you are getting emails. You might get a 4 hr heads-up on a deal, before it hits the search engines; that can land you some decent hits. And heck, what's the problem; you get 10 emails a day to swipe/delete? Or just create a filter, and put it under "gun stuff".

Usually it is very accurate. I have pre-shelf access at Scheels so I don't use them anymore though so I can't say for sure.
