Anyone remember when going AGAINST THE GRAIN and refusing to follow the sheep was the cool thing to do?

Just in the last couple of days on this board I have seen some of these edgy libertarians calling for a Centralized and Authoritative Government.
I would say there is some confusion going on.

I was thinking bi-sexual, but I'll go with it.
As a libertarian and anarchist sympathizer, I fully understand that both will produce power vacuums that will likely be filled by authoritarians.
I'm not dismissing these ideas, they should be part of the recipe to try and get the smallest government possible that still has enough authority to keep the Jacobin types from taking over.
It's a very delicate mixture, and very hard to get right.

These same Pro Open Boarder libertarians also support huge government programs that will be needed for their flood of illegal immigrants. And their plan to reduce healthcare costs for those of us supporting government healthcare for illegals? Less paperwork.

It's true. I like punk rock but it is so leftist. They complain about the establishment without realizing that their ideology is now establishment ideology. Their beliefs are no different than the beliefs espoused on every college campus, by the media, or by the democratic party. They used to be against authority but now parrot the authority in the areas in which most of them live.
Being conservative is now standing up to the establishment. No one is being fired or having their lives intentionally ruined by others for being liberal.
