Since 2011, multinational technology corporations including Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, Comcast and Google have donated thousands to Georgia Republican Rep. Doug Collins’ campaign, according to records from the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and OpenSecrets.
Collins, who serves as the Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee, has advocated against breaking up large technology corporations. Back in the Spring, Collins along with Wisconsin Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, wrote a letter to Judiciary Chair Rep. Jerry Nadler informing him they would not participate in an investigation of the tech industry “with pre-conceived conclusions that America’s large tech companies are inherently bad, cannot be allowed to exist in society, and must be broken up.”
On Tuesday night, Fox News host Tucker Carlson reported that Collins had released a letter defending Google, a company that has donated to his campaign. Carlson asked in his segment, “who is paying these guys?”
Well, FEC and OpenSecrets records show that since 2011, Collins has accepted a total of $180,500 from tech company and trade association PAC’s through his campaign committee and leadership PAC.

Yea I'm basically done with him.
Loeffler isn't getting my vote
I'll go with libertarian candidate.
Sessions fricked up on DACA though. Hopefully you'll be man enough to admit that

Thats not a whole lot to rustle my feathers over. Plus the $40,000 mentioned is just from employees correct? I dont see anything wrong with that. If you donate to Trump, does that mean the company did?

I don't like Collins' stance on this issue but that amount of contribution money does not seem like a lot.

Collins and Loefler? What a shite show. Voting Libertarian you may as well vote for Santa Claus.

The Presidency regardless of who's occupying the Oval Office either has the power to rescind its own executive order or it does not.
If we have gotten to a point that we need to argue this with republican appointed judges, then this country is lost and going downhill.
Absolutely no one thought that John Roberts would be shameless enough to go all in on the procedural nonsense to stop DACA.

At first glance this may be valid but those contributions are for a congressional race for a district that is safe red, not competitive at all and one of the Trumpiest districts in the country.

Man, I really like Collins so this is disappointing.

The amount of money here is nothing. Especially since it was over a 9 year period.

I don't care. He has my vote over Low-lifer.

At least Collins is from Georgia

Now do that with other members from both sides of that committee. Five thousand in a multimillion dollar campaign is not going to buy a vote. Let’s see where this goes now that google and others are more blatant.

I was just about to post about this... didn't know about that article. I did hear the Tucker Carlson piece and was about to look some stuff up based on that. So, thanks for posting.
We have WAY TOO MANY so-called Conservatives who do not believe in Liberty and Freedom.
If I was in GA, I would be inclined to pick blondie.
Fortunately, we have Missouri Senator Hawley ... who gets it.

My biggest problem with Collins was that he is basing his senate bid on his 15 minutes of fame going to bat for the President during impeachment.
Further examination of his record of public office since 2007 is suspect and leaves quite a bit to be desired.
I don't like his association with David Ralston who is practically a sleazy Boss Hogg politician of sorts and reminds me of John Alario here in Louisiana.

If it is just individuals who work for those companies, then what is the problem? I imagine that the Democrat candidate has a TON more. Especially from Google and Amazon.

Going from McCaskill to Hawley is like going from a 20 year old beater car to a brand new Aston Martin.
Congrats to Missouri. They did a hell of a job picking out a diamond in the rough.

What a war chest. Amazon really owns him with that 500 dollar contribution.
Georgians who hate Comcast should be pissed.
