The 'unintentional consequences' of this sort of divisive and emotion-based policy will be far reaching...and ultimately, create dysfunction in the whole society.

To this day I still can't wrap my head around some of the lectures in my business courses, one professor in particular would preach "hire the best and the brightest!" then turn around and lecture about mandated minority quotas...my thoughts, leave off race on your applications/resume and restrict perspective employers from seeing your name, then you can hire based on the truly black and white (no pun intended)

Non attainable goals unless you just hire tokens and dump their work off on the qualified employees.

Sometimes it's frustrating working for a small business but thank god I don't have to put up with shite like this. I'd lose my mind.

If they run companies like they run cities or countries that corporation is done.

my company recruits that way on the downlow...apparently, they understand its wrong to do, but don't know how to "only hire" minorities and LGBT folks....because there just are not many in that box that are qualified for more than coffee barista or fry cook.

And minorities are oppressed.
