I don't know why a compromise cannot be made by NFL.

Before each game have a moment of silence for social justice, players can kneel...lay on turf ...eat a sandwich ...whatever they want to do to show support for the topic. Then ask all to rise as the national anthem is played, I'm sure there would be some dumbass players who that wouldn't be good enough for but it would give a middle ground for those players who do not support kneeling during the anthem but support the cause. I could get behind that and not have to sacrifice my sports because I will not support anyone who disrespects this country.

It's not just about is fans, some players are conservative but cannot show it due to their jobs being on the line

And black people are tired of being told how you think they should be “allowed” to protest.
Stop thinking this about you, snowflake.

They should also understand their employer may not like it if it harms the bottom line in the future
They should also understand if they really want their message to be heard from everyone, it might be wise to demonstrate in a way that doesn't anger people who view the flag/anthem differently than them
But I know that seems like rocket science to you

Becuz even though they say it’s not about the flag, it’s really about the flag

They’re literally saying that no such “other” position can/should exist. The flag is now an adopted symbol of racism. Those who do not kneel (whatever their reasons) will be labeled as sympathetic to the perpetuation of racism. You either agree to get in line where you are told to stand (Drew Brees) or you are a racist.
Who exactly is oppressing whom here?

I was upset about my company getting rid of free coffee in the break room, so I whipped my penis out in a staff meeting in protest.
Can I give my former boss your number so you can explain the struggle? He doesn’t understand us like you do.

Theres no room in the All-Inclusive & Tolerant Dem Party for “OTHER” opinions or interpretations! Youre either 100% WOKE & Down w/Da ‘Cause or UR RACIST!!

If soldiers take a knee at the grave of fallen soldiers - as a sign of respect - why do YOU consider it a sign of disrespect?
It’s not like they are sitting down or turning their backs.

Modify that to during warmups etc. then return to locker room before kickoff and the anthem.

Black players will not be happy until anyone white is kneeling and waving a BLM flag at kickoff. Lunatics running the asylum
The only banner/motto everyone needs to adopt is....Stop Acting Like a Horses arse when you’re talking to cops.

It doesn’t really matter why some people take offense to the act of kneeling for the anthem, but it’s very well known many do
And the players still choose to do it, when there are other forms for them to get their message out. I just find it strange they do this when they claim at the same time they aren’t trying to be offensive and it has nothing to do with the flag

this ^^^^^^^
they are racists and want to disrespect the flag and our country, otherwise they wouldnt insist on kneeling for the anthem

How about players come out after the Anthem?

Are you supposed to kneel at all anthems played?
I mean do you kneel at a relitves funeral if it's played or say at a elementary school function?
To be correct if I don't am I disrespectful of someone's rights and history?
If it's mostly while the cameras are on me I've nothing to worry about.
