I’ve been slow to speak about the latest LSU racism, because we knew this.
Too often we watch Black people who attended LSU and other PWI’s defend the institution and I get it, you paid your money so you value your school. You met some dope people and share memories you’ll cherish forever in spite of how racist the schools history is. You have that right.
Nothing about LSU’s response or fumble in the response shocks me. LSU just lost a President in part because some of the board didn’t like how much he was “diversifying” the university. I remember when Jordan Jefferson was QB and the comment sections. I’m probably one of the most talked about people on Tigerdroppings the OT and it’s racist as hell. So this isn’t new to me.
