Going for 5 nights in July.
Must eats? Bars? Can’t miss sights?
Thanks for any advice.

Came as quite a surprise, but The Merry Piglets Mexican Grill was some of the best Mexican food I ever had.

My biggest advice is to get up early and go to Mormon Row for the sunrise photos of the Tetons. The morning light on the mountains is worth it. I get up early before the family each day and drive the park for photo ops.
And then, revisit those spots at sunset, especially if there are partly cloudy skies. The pink/purple/orange cloudy sunsets behind the Tetons are the most awe inspiring natural sites I've seen. A good spot for that is the Jackson Lake Lodge, where you can have cocktails watching the sunset. Double check to see if they are open though.

Take the Gondola up to grab cocktails and apps at the deck at Peche. Arrive 30-45 minutes before it opens so you get a good spot or it fills up and your view isn't as good.
Also taking up the Tram and then hiking around is great. You can Take the tram up earlier in the day, hike around, and then I believe its a 2 mile hike down to Peche where you can have apps and beverages at 5PM I believe and then take the Gondola down.
Grab lunch at Dornans deck.
If you have kids or not I enjoy the Alpine slide and other activities
Bring binoculars. Moose-Wilson road is the best spot to usually spot moose. Drive it early and late in the day.

Persphone Bakery-breakfast or lunch
Trios
Local
Snake River Grill-expensive but nice
Ride the tram to top of mountain in Teton Village for drinks
We love Lupine Trail-not as crowded as Jenny Lake
Do a Snake River raft trip
Rent bikes and ride Moose/Wilson

Jackson, Driggs, and Victor have all instituted mask rules. They’re putting up somewhat hostile signage to encourage people to wear them.
Xanterra is doing the same thing at their outlets in the parks.
Jackson is crowded though and if it wasn’t for the masks, and the absence of Asian tourists, it would feel like any other summer.

Yep, I flew into Jackson Hole yesterday and am in Victor today. My daughter, who lives here, said locals are worried about all tourists coming in for the summer. So, masks are required in many places.

I think there's some real panic - I assume these people watch too much television?
And they don't understand, which I don't understand, how they depend on these said same tourists. Without tourists, their jobs, and their lives, would disappear.

Just came back from there on Thursday. We had a good meal at "Local", the one night we were in town. Tried to go to Snake river Brewing and it was closed that one day (6/30) for whatever reason. Ended up going by the Roadhouse brewpub for a few beers and lunch and it was pretty solid.

SRB had two employee report positive for COVID.
I don't know if they had the test, or simply reported symptoms. SRB responded by shutting down.
They haven't said when they'll reopen again.

Ah, ok. That makes sense. The two things I had planned that day crapped out - fishing (cancelled from all the rain the day before & high river) and SR Brewery. I just figured it wasn't my day.

It’s been strangely cold and rainy, hope you had a good trip though!

Loved it and will definitely be back. My 6yo said it was better than Disney World. Win in my book.
