What's terrible is that even the harmless mistakes we make are being weaponized against us by this bully mentality that seeks to destroy those who don't toe the line.

I’m just glad texting wasn’t a thing when I was in school. I’d hate to be that age and have to worry about something I said when I was young coming back to bite me years later.

And what's more, there's very often no coming back from the "mistake(s)"... ever. The people pulling this cancel culture bullshite are the same ones that want to see incarceration methods revised so that convicted felons, including murderers, can be reformed quicker and get out of prison sooner.

Just thought about the neighbor’s kid in 1984 who yells at Winston Smith calling him a thought criminal. This is that scene playing out today. Unreal.
