How common are white supremacists?

I’ve lived in the south my whole life and have never met a white supremacist. I’ve run into a few people who were probably racist but never any kind extremist. I’ve asked others the same thing and have also read similar opinions online.
It doesn’t mean they don’t exist, the point is do they exist in the the numbers the media wishes you to believe?

Dude there's like a few thousand in the entire country.
Almost all of them are holed up in compounds in remote parts of the country.

The only one I've ever met was an old democrat.

They are everywhere. Every white you've ever seen is a white supremacist and racist who is 2 seconds shy of lynching every black in the country....
Or something like that

Why is the conversation about White supremacy, thought it was about police brutality?

not very common
they don't even move the needle
pretending they exist in any kind of numbers that matter is another media hoax

I think I've only met one true racist in my entire life and he hated me as much as he hated black people because I am Catholic. Lord knows what would happen if he met a black Catholic.

I've lived in two states, Alabama and Florida. I've never once seen a KKK member.

depends if you define "white supremacist" as anyone who isnt sufficiently pro-black

I used to live on a street with a bar at the end of it. I frequented that bar because I could walk home(or stumble at times). One day I brought a coworker who is a black woman. They served our drinks in to go cups. I thought it was strange because I had always gotten a glass. Well, we finished our drinks and concluded our discussion. When I went back, they informed they don't like "her kind" and they hold Klan meetings from time to time. I had hung out in that bar many times at that point. My point is that they don't exactly advertise, and I am sure they are a very small percentage of the Caucasian population. But they do indeed exist.

I've met a few. I used to live somewhat close to where the "grand wizard" lived over near Harrison, Arkansas. But even there, I only ever met a couple folks I would have considered "radical" in the sense that I thought they were actually dangerous.
Media makes it sound like there's a hidden army of these people in every major city.

Lived in Louisiana my entire life, I know of one, David Duke who’s a irreverent old man now.

you hear the phrase "White Supremacist" all the time for the past couple years, but it is a very recent development.
I think this is why:
1) Calling everyone racist has lost its bite. They call everyone a racist for anything so who the hell cares anymore. boy who cried wolf and all...
2) Somebody focus grouped replacements for "racist" and found "white Supremacists" had the scariest sound, since that means KKK and Aryan Nation type people. So now they call everything "White Supremacist".
3) When people call you a racist, you can usually point out how they are in fact the ones being racist. But you can't very well turn it around and point out how they are being a "White Supremacists".

Said to have somewhere in the neighborhood of 2k to 10k members out of a society of 330million. They are basically a ghost. And from doing some research - Im conviced what is left is a leftist front to keep their name alive and to be useful enough for a narrative. Just look at David Dukes.
