If it was disproportionate, I would toss in the disproportionate numbers of blacks on football and baseball fields.....
Regardless, this whole thing is so stupid. Stop doing things that bring police attention - Gangs, harassing people, mugging, other robberies, and stop being so damn belligerent to cops and others and the death rate will drop like a rock.
What are the numbers of blacks dying who have juvenile or other altercations with the law vs. black dudes who are serious about education and business and keep their noses clean? Take out the thug deaths and I bet the rate of "unarmed" black men dying at the hands of police is very low.

Ok first of all is being stuck by lightning worse than getting killed? No. Not even close. Of those 65 6 to 7 died. 7<9. That 9 number was also just police shootings. George Floyd's death wouldn't be counted in that number, but obviously that's also a death at police hands. What is the purpose of this comparison? That it's overblown? As you said blacks make up 13% of the population but of the 41 people killed in police shootings last year, confirmed to be unarmed, 9 of those 41 were black. That's 21% of the total or 61.9% higher than their population proportion. Why just use 2019 tho? When you include other forms of death the police killed over 100 unarmed black people in 2015. That really fricks up your bogus comparison. You didn't specify being shot. And why would have meant that? You didn't. Come on man what you saying? What are you really trying to say? I didn’t say one was worse than the other. The comparison is only to demonstrate how rare it is for unarmed blacks to be killed by a cop. Most people think of lightning strikes as freak, ultra-rare events.

How many unarmed blacks were killed by cops but not shot? Can’t be very many. Let’s say it was 5 more. That’s still only 14, nowhere close to the 60-70 range of blacks struck by lightning.

I have no doubt that blacks are killed at a higher rate than other races, but they also live in higher crime areas with heavier police presences and therefore have more interactions with police officers.

Even if true, 100 unarmed blacks being killed per year is only slightly more common than being struck by lightning. So, still extremely rare. And many of those 100 were officers acting in self-defense, so unjustified shootings are even more rare.

WTF is racist about citing statistics to demonstrate that unarmed blacks being killed by cops is extremely, extremely rare? There is no widespread problem with numbers this low.
Compare those numbers to murders committed by illegal immigrants. The last few years there have been around 1,600 murder convictions of illegal immigrants each year. That is a much bigger problem, assuming we value all innocent lives equally.
