The next time I see a video of a truck encountering rioters, I want to see a trail of flattened corpses behind the truck.

Of course you wouldn’t acknowledge that the driver initially tried to run over the protesters when they were literally sitting ducks.

You are one of the stupidest motherfrickers on earth. The guy was driving a vehicle, on a road. This ignorant animals are the ones who put THEMSELVES at risk.
The reason they are called sitting ducks..is because that's how ducks DIE.
How on Gods Earth could you be ok with a driver being beaten because he was doing his job...but you are not ok with protesters being hurt that ARE BREAKING THE LAW?
frick you....people like you are THE problem

This is why you carry a gun. Once you shoot the first one the others will back off.

They were in the road prior. He came barreling at them, they parted. some people fell, so he slowed. He was still the aggressor to start. Just as all these looters are not the solution. driving fast at a group of people is not either.

I would have had no problem with him trying to drive off if the crowd had surrounded his stopped truck(like Reginald Denny), but that was not the case here.

If a road is temp shut down because of construction, clearing debris, accident, ect... Do you have the right to continue driving through? And no its not his legal right to do so, its his privilege. Show me where driving is a right in our Constitution

Well, he's a truck driver, so he's an essential worker.

Maybe the way to fix this is to shut down the supply chain to states that allow mobs to sieze highways.

Don't deliver gasoline, or diesel, or building supplies, or food, or clothing, or electronics, or anything.

Just shut it down. Riots will stop when they don't have food and water.

This has nothing to do with the topic.

awww, poor innocent protestors. just minding their own business peacefully protesting on a state highway blocking traffic.

I mean, that is peaceful.

The way I see it, there are 3 groups in these ordeals:

1. Peaceful protestors who want to march and chant
2. Antifa types who want to start chaos and burn shite down.
3. Opportunists who see #2 as an excuse to get they free shite

2’s motive is to take over and send their own message. You blurring the lines and blaming #1 means they were successful.

Sure, but an innocent 3rd party can't differentiate between the 3 when trying to determine if he is in any danger when confronted by the "protestors".

100% agree. Unfortunately when #2 & #3 mix with #1 - their message isn’t received or is received negatively. And I have a hard time believing that a portion of #1 doesn’t participate with #3 before it’s all said and done.

It does. You said driving is a privilege.

It's more than a privilege for essential workers.

100%. When #2 starts the action, 1-3 are all considered rioters by police in the general vicinity.

I’m talking more about the armchair Monday morning TD posters.

It is, its not a right

Again being essential has nothing to do with this or someones privilege to have a drivers license

IF a road is shut down as you say, it's done so legally, and in the case of construction, its dine thru permitting.

This is not the case here. It is done illegally.

God, you're in stupid frick
