I can't say for sure that you are wrong, obviously one can't exactly predict the future but just remember the late 60's were pretty damn turbulent and we got through it. Some of those riots from back then were no joke.
I remember when I was in the 1st grade my mom had to come get me from school personally for a couple of weeks because people in Augusta were going apeshit over a black guy getting killed in the city jailhouse. Like I said we got through it

Yeah i grew up in SE OK....as soon as I retire I want some acreage to squat on...maybe octavia or red oak or somewhere in that area. You can literally be left alone from the world out there. No laws, protest, or riots can reach you.

America has survived a civil war, race riots, a pandemic, world wars, and economic depressions. There is no real alternative for splitting the country up. There are people who vote for Democrats in Alabama and people who vote for republicans in New York. In reality, people don’t all fit in these neat categories of left and right.
Issues of racial prejudice especially in the context of the criminal justice system aren’t new or something out of the blue. They have been here since the beginning. We have to address them and deal with them. We shouldn’t quit. Our founding ideals aren’t easy to live up to.
