Minneapolis police shoot child on his porch with hot paintball rounds - Jerk cop

Depite the fact that Minneapolis lockdown rules allow residents to be on their own property during lockdown hours, a child was shot for not obeying the cop's screaming order to "GET IN YOUR HOUSE! GET INSIDE!". Then "LIGHT HIM UP!"
An armored vehicle followed by marching cops in a military formation all-but-goose-stepped down a quiet Minneapolis neighborhood, then shot a kid with a hot paintball rounds.
Disgusting

root cause - rioters

In this instance, they told them to go inside several times. Why did they just stand there? They are the only ones on that street not complying. I agree the actions taken by the cops were extreme but why did they not just comply?

I mean, have they not learned to listen to police by now?

Are the cops in Minneapolis this aggressive with the rioters? It’s easy to act tough and yell down a quiet neighborhood, no so much against rioters.

Lol. They were told to get inside 5 times.
No sympathy.
No sympathy.

"Child"
Where is the article that verifies this individuals age?
Sounds like propaganda to me.

No way that’s a child.
I understand your sentiment here, but those riots have gotten out of hand and they are trying to stop them. Not saying I agree with it, but they are trying to suppress the lawlessness taking place.

"Child"....loose interpretation.

Given my profession, I tend to usually back the police, but man it seems like Minneapolis PD has a really toxic culture. It feels like they have been at the center of an inordinate amount of controversy where police violence is involved.

Meh... doesn't look much like a Kid to me... Dressed like the rioters and were defying orders. I'm blastin them too. Sick of the "civil disobedience"
You can tell by the convo that they weren't on the side of the cops. so...

Who gives a flying frick if it was children or adults in that video? The question here should be what crime were the residents committing?
Standing on their front porch? After we just saw block after block of Minneapolis being literally burned to the ground and police retreating with no repercussions whatsoever?
Yet we see posters saying we should only blame the rioters for these curfews and lockdowns? No!
It is like blaming the Chi-Coms for the lockdowns. China didn’t shut the economy down and put our nation under house arrest with these insane “flatten-the-economy” dictates — it was the petty dictators within our own nation.
We blame the failure of government to stop these law-breakers and keep the peace in the first place. The ostensible reason we put up with the inane regulatory apparatus of state & local governments and shoulder their oppressive tax burden is to maintain law and order.
Terrorizing citizens in their front yards and porches is an abject failure of that social contract. Yet repeatedly in the past 3 months, we have seen governments across the nation take a frightening authoritarian turn.
If we continue to acquiesce to these Police State tactics, sheltering in our home in cowardice and fear will become the new normal. I declare too many decent, law abiding citizens seem to be suffering from Stockholm Syndrome when confronted by these repeated abuses from these Police State goons.
