Proof positive that the Legislature doesn't give a shite about lowering car insurance rates by making highways safer.
SB 3818 tort deform is just free money for the insurance companies.
Follow the money from insurance companies to legislators' campaign funds, first laundered through PACs.

Not sure the issue here. It's already illegal in certain states.

This was obviously going to get killed. Lawmakers arent passing laws that affect themselves

If you’re not Bluetoothing by now anyway, you’re in the Stone Age.

Good. Using a phone is no different than a hands free speaker system yet one is pushed and the other is criminalized. I drive with one hand anyways.

Fortunately following the 10th Amendment is more important than lowering car insurance rates. Though, given the Democrat majority in the House and their compulsion to control every aspect of everyone's life I'm surprised this didn't pass.

You think this is why this legislation is being introduced? I bet if you look closely, law enforcement is the engine behind this. Just another reason to be able to pull you over and seize your property.

As opposed to the funding for the judges? That is a little humorous, all that money for judges and then the judges get cut down from $50k to $5k.
Lammo isn’t a play on your last name, is it?
