It’s out on Jefferson Hwy and I had kind of forgotten about this place. A friend has been sharing their Facebook post and the daily menu looks good.
I’m really interested in how their cracklings are. I gave up on Chris Specialty Meats as theirs are garbage.
I do like Toups cracklings very much though

Their crackling is pretty good. The rest of their food kinda sucks imo.
The place in Harahan that used to be Bergeron's has better cracking imo. It's now called Hanford and Sons or something, it's in the gas station across from Robear's snowballs. They also have chicken crackling which is very good. Good boudin too.

Can confirm their cracklin has been on the #OrleansParishCracklinTrail and it's pretty damn legit.
Now I know that Hanford & Sons tout their cracklin hard. Will try that this weekend and report back.
As stated earlier it used to be Bergeron's. I've had their Northshore location's cracklin and it was average at best.

Everyone I know agrees about their cracklins. All of social media says it.
Are they ignorant to the process or do they just cut corners and not care?

It seems like they're just ignorant. It was almost an act of Congress to get a non-diced pork belly

Place is garbage. Cracklins are hard as rocks and the rest of the food is not that great...

You may have got them after they were under the heat lamp for a long time.

Never had their regular cracklins but I got some chicken cracklins there once and they were really good.
