We talking about Myles Brennan or Bill Brasky? Good lord with the hyperbole.

Lester, unless you live closer to Brennan then I do you are not talking from first hand knowledge. I live in the same neighborhood as he and family. I see him working out on his property every morning. I see him running the beaches every day on my way to work. I watched him play in high school. I’m telling you Brennan is presently every bit of 6’4+” and 220 lbs and looks like a grown arse man.

great. And also irrelevant.

Can he read defenses? Go through progressions? Is he accurate? Can he throw with touch? Pocket presence? Poise? Leadership? Scrambling ability?

There’s SO MUCH MORE to playing QB than a strong arm and weight.

LSU always adds an inch

Burrow 6’4” really is 6’3”

Danny Etling 6’3” really is 6’2”

It’s like clock work

I would take Myles Brennan over any other starting QB in the SEC this year.

vs San Antonio
The only reason LSU scheduled this game was because of Frank Wilson and since he's at McNeese now, there is absolutely no appeal to the game. (Except to see the debut of MB)

I hope Finley redshirts. Time with the clipboard and in the film room would help him harness his physical skill set.

TD, jump in here if you like!

Coaches believe he’s a Joe Burrow Reload only lacking actual starting experience. Myles doesn’t lack game experience with 600 yards passing over a 3-year period.

I’ll add the MUCH MORE!

What about Myles durability and toughness? I’m not too concerned! I’ve seen him take big hits and stay focused!

This is a 48 TD 3 pick throwing Elite 11 QB that’s essentially graduated LSU and is here to get his shot running a choreographed Off that is suited to his skills.

He’s studied and read defenses three years!
He’s listened and learned from his coaches!
He’s got two years Geauxt watching/learning
He’s goes through his progressions as per the New LSU Offense (watch highlights)
He’s as accurate as they come with better velocity than Joe to hit tight windows
He can throw with good touch (can improve)
He has pocket presence/poise (can improve)

Leadership and respect will be earned
Scrambling ability has greatly improved for a Pocket passer like Myles. His foot speed is as good as Joe Burrow’s.

What nobody sees coming is MORE PASSING

LSU was finally (for the first time ever) a passing team at 54% last year.

65% passing in the Clemson rout!

Saints Template = 60% Passing!

An average QB from Ohio with little hands that got stomped 29-0 in 2018 running a predictable 2/3 rushing/Pass plays Attack turned the CFB works on its @$$ and set the new standard

Do you “get it”?

It’s called the SPREAD AND SHRED

Myles is gonna shred some SEC @$$ in 2020. Come talk to me after the Texas game

Right. Not favored by the "pros" (who were all dead wrong about the 2019 Tigers). But yes favored by the only guy you are likely aware of who bet cold hard cash on LSU to win the SEC, the NC, and Burrow to win the Heisman. So there's that.

Kudos Buckeye! You tell em!

These Vegas Oddsmakers didn’t get a grip on LSU all last year when we went to a passing attack from a 2/3 rushing team.

If you know a team rushes 65% of the time, they’re at a terrible disadvantage to good dee

Let’s talk preseason odds on the games!

LSU is within 2.5 points (favored or not) in all its games. Last year Bama was a 17 point preseason favorite over LSU

How close do you really believe this line (ALABAMA -2.5 OVER LSU) is going to be come game time.

How can someone get a bet down on this right now before it becomes LSU -7 at game time?

That could pay for my vacation in Florida and cover my bird chasing costs!

Wasn't that Cowherd's knock on Burrow? Of course he was good. He was a grown arse man graduate NFL player who was still playing college ball. Burrow had reached his ceiling while Trevor Lawrence still had untapped potential.

In a time with the transfer portal and with players increasingly leaving for the draft early, it's becoming rare to have a redshirt Junior or Senior on the roster who has the talent to start and who stuck with your program the whole time. It doesn't mean Myles will be great, but the circumstances are certainly in his and LSU's favor.

Yeah Buddy! That’s our new QBU Edge!

Add the Marucci Nine Point personality checklist and you get truly great kids
NOT PRIMA DONNAS

Mark this!

The Joe Burrow Myles Brennan Story will be the greatest inspiration for QBs at LSU for the next decade or as long as LSU keeps up its current practice of settling QB competition FAIRLY AND BY PERFORMANCE ON AN EQUAL NUMBER OF SNAPS

Joe won his job August 2018 on 428 snaps being graded and shown his successes and failures!

Listen to TJ Finley in this video!

TJ Finley I’m gonna wait my turn

I really wish you could prove I was 25 so I’d spend my time chasing young skirts stead of looking at posts about a man crush. Ain’t you got any hot young muffins to chase, and that was rhetorical.
