Myles is said to be in the best shape of his QB life near 6’5 and 220, he’s going to look like an NFL QB when he takes his first snap as starter vs San Antonio on Sept 5 in 102 days. And he’s going to run Sean Payton’s LSU modified plays in YEAR TWO of the grand experiment.

Myles Brennan

Reports have Myles getting throws in daily and getting ready for a June 8 report date for preseason work. Offseason QBs keep a log where they detail pass counts and practice drills performed along with exercises and running.

Rule of Thumb varies based on the QB and his abilities and how injury prone he is, but usually 100 - 125 passes a day is the norm in practice

Too few passes are not as bad as too many, which leads to injury, fatigue, & interceptions.

Assuming an NFL standard average 120 daily pass count, and 89 days starting June 8, Myles will have enough good practice days to throw almost 10,000 passes!

The Magic Number

Edit Add:
Does anyone know the maximum throw count LSU established with Joe Brady?

ETA: after re-reading the OP's post, I'm hoping he meant Myles is physically going to look like an NFL QB. I definitely assumed he meant his play was going to look like an NFL QB.

Unfortunately he's missing the valuable opportunity to work on timing with his starting WRs. It's obviously a bigger deal for a new starting QB. Brennan does have the benefit of being in the system and knowing the playbook well. He just needs to get through the first 4-5 games and get his timing, comfort and confidence built.

Myles should’ve moved in with me during quarantine. He would’ve come out weighing 240.

Straight from Coaches Mouth Lester Earl

He’ll never be a monster like JaMarcus and we hope he isn’t as 220 preseason translates to 210-215 during SEC play.

While this is true, the silver lining is this is true of most (if not all..) of the QB's and receivers throughout college football..

So at least they are all on equal footing..

At 89 days (75+ practice days) at120 passes a day to his WRs?

He’s missing what?

You wanna kill him before the season starts

That’s almost 10,000 passes

It’s plenty enough practice. He’ll be ready to crap razor blades against San Antonio

That's not the same as spring practice with the whole team and scrimmage games and you know it. Timing with a WR 1-1 is completely different than hitting a tight window with man coverage or placing a pass between a 2 deep zone.

They’re going to have their NCAA allotted fall practices PLUS June 8 starting daily workouts. It will be enough!

Mark it!

If I’m wrong, Texas and Ehlinger will beat us!

If you’re wrong, LSU will boat race Texas

He has not played a meaningful snap for us yet and you make him sound like he will be a seasoned pro......

Lighten up Francis. I'm just pointing out that Myles is at a disadvantage being a 1st year starter and not having the benefit of a full spring offseason. The same was true of Burrow in 2018. I'm just applying some rational thought and objectivity.

Where did I even remotely indicate that Texas would boat race LSU?

Let's give Myles a chance to get a few skins under his belt before we anoint him.

Lester,

You gotta know the first Fall practice is early August right!

Alls I’m sayin is June 8 to Aug 3 is that the QBs and WRs can practice daily together (with days off) and that’s enough time before August 1 and 2-a-days.
