I can work with any shape, just fill that mofo to the top. Don't short me on ice dammit it is hot in the South.

Sonic ice is best to eat.
Half cubes are best in a drink and are more sophisticated imo

Doesnt matter as long as it is rinsed.

Depends on what I'm drinking. Water, soft drinks - pellet. Bourbon - my Death Star ice ball. Gin and tonic - crescent.
Chick-fil-a has good ice. Don't have a Sonic.

Scotsman makes the Sonic pellet ice machines. I've been looking at putting one of their under counter units in at the house.

Prefer pellet to the cylinder

Sad no one has said shaved.
I like my ice shaved, some call them snowballs.

I honestly thought I was being fricked with when I read this on here but it actually does make a difference if you're using standard ice cubes from your freezer. Rinsing removes the outer layer of buildup smell/taste that accumulates when you're ice sits in the freezer and makes whatever you pour taste much more clean and crisp. It also helps retain the carbonation as a plus.
