As a kid we called Sonic Ice-Rabbit Turd Ice. No idea where it came from, but anyone that has seen rabbit shite pellets, they would get it.

And yes, it’s the best.

Crushed (pellet if we're being technical). We've got a big ice maker at work in the kitchen that makes the perfect ice. Can't recall the name brand at the moment but did look into it one time and we'll just say it was waaaayyy out of my price range considering it's a fricking ice maker.

Pellet or Nugget Ice

Got a “sonic ice” maker in the house. It’s pretty awesome until it breaks.

Yup, they won’t stick together and fall on you face like crushed or cubed ice.

16y lagavulin neat, yes. The peat flavor is delicious with air alone.

Most bourbons don't open up until iced- single LARGE sphere of ice (melts extremely slowly, chills and opens without watering down liquor).

You don't know what you're missing.

Also, whether to splash water, plunk ice or drink neat depends heavily on which bourbon or scotch you are drinking. Fyi.

Cheers.
