I've had my 2XL for 2.5 years and have had no problems at all. The battery is finally starting to hold less of a charge but that's ok since I plan on getting the 5 this fall.

I had a Google pixel 4XL, it was the worst battery I have ever used in a phone, it was absolutely horrendous, I went back to my note 9, I will say, the photos were phenomenal, but the battery was the straw that broke the camel's back

I have had Nexus 5x and Pixel 2-4. I really have not ever had a single issue other than the battery on my 4 is a complete joke. A phone not lasting through a whole day with moderate use is unacceptable this day in age.

I like mine. It's admittedly been my first smartphone but I haven't had many issues at all.

Every Google phone has had hardware issues since the Nexus days. I like the concept of having a phone straight from Google, but their hardware is arse both in quality and design.

Take the Pixel 2 as an example. When that phone came out, every manufacturer was trying to ditch bezels on their expensive flagship phones. The Pixel 2 went the other direction and actually got bigger bezels than the old Nexus 5 and 5x. The phone looked antiqued right out of the box when compared to the Galaxy s8 or iPhone X. It also suffered from a number of pesky issues that went relatively unaddressed (like the blue screen tint).

The only reason to buy a pixel phone today is if you NEED Android updates as soon as possible. Other than that, almost every manufacturer has better and more dependable hardware than Google.

I loved the OG XL, but I waited until the 4 came out and had intended to get it. I was disappointed in the lack of features, etc so I went with the Note 10+ and have been just as happy as I was with the Pixel. No idea if the 4 is any good or not, but I feel like they kinda punted on development of it.

I have had
Pixel XL
Pixel 2XL
Pixel 3Xl
Currently Pixel 4XL

I haven't had hardly any issues. The Pixel 2 XL was buggy.... But the rest have been trouble free. My company still uses all of them. You must have had bad luck man

I recently got rid of the 2XL. It would immediately turn off when I would plug it in to charge. Even though the battery charging icon would appear while off, it would not charge. I only found one cable that would charge it, however, it would only work after it turned off.
