Do you think that Whitfield is the only coach who has used things like this to train muscle memory?

The idea is to learn a skill or a motion in a non-football related skill to trick your brain into learning a new way to accomplish a task. When you go back to using that skill in the context of your sport, you are more likely to retain the new way of doing things than if you just drilled technique. It’s a basic idea of motor learning psychology
