I actually like this kid, so this is not just me picking on a Buckeye. But, I submit to you:
quote:
"Not everybody is the perfect person in the world," Pryor said of Vick. "Everyone does -- kills people, murders people, steals from you, steals from me. I just feel that people need to give him a chance."

Nowhere near the "dumbest" (or professional athlete at the time) but still funny:
The irony is that ppl were offended by this in 2003 to the point of media outrage. “Offensive to the troops“ if you can believe it.
Today's media would probably be applauding him for his courage to play amateur sports "for free" while evil coaches are making all the money.

Cadillac Williams saying Ronnie Brown May have won the war but the battle is not over. His comments about Ronnie Brown being drafted ahead of him while his dad gave him the side eye lol.

It might be on Inside the NBA when Shaq thought the moon was closer to Atlanta than Atlanta is to California because when he goes outside in Atlanta he can see the moon but he can’t see California.
https://youtu.be/QaSrQy-aju8
He thinks it’s about a “10 or 11 hour flight to the moon”.

I'm not sure Shaq is 100% serious with this stuff.
I always thought his quote when he signed with the Lakers was great.
"I've won on every level except college and pro."

We'll never know. Athletes or people with a voice in national media aren't allowed to "kiss the arse of the other side."
They know there would be ramications if they did instead of being hailed as heros.

Tyson is actually a pretty damned intelligent dude. If you haven't seen it yet, check out his interview on Joe Rogan's podcast. Very interesting guy lol. He also has his own podcast called Hot Boxin which is pretty good.

That "f*ckin' soldier" clip gets me every time.
As for the dumbest thing I've heard an athlete say, I can't remember the man's name, but an accomplished runner, perhaps even reigning world's fastest man, had his wallet stolen off his person. He subsequently told police regarding the incident, "Everything happened so fast..."

Well, like most people, he's matured over the years. When he was young, he was heading down the wrong path until Cus and crew took him under their wing.
Not much of a coincidence that he started going off the rails more when he dumped Cus' crew and went with Don King and his pack of leech/parasite hangers-on.

For sure, he is a totally different dude now. Crazy to think its the same guy lol.
