This is a shocker: Ruby Rose, the star of the CW’s freshman drama series Batwoman, is leaving the Warner Bros. TV/Berlanti Prods. drama after one season. The series, which already has been renewed for a second season, will continue with the title role getting recast.
“I have made the very difficult decision to not return to Batwoman next season,” Rose said in a statement “This was not a decision I made lightly as I have the utmost respect for the cast, crew and everyone involved with the show in both Vancouver and in Los Angeles.”
Rose was a major get when she was cast as Batwoman in summer 2018, originally for the 2018-19 Arrowverse crossover, and later for a full-fledged pilot, written by Caroline Dries based on the DC characters, which went to series, executive produced by Dries and Berlanti Prods.’ Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter. Rose acknowledged the series’ creative team as well as the heads of the CW, Mark Pedowitz, and Warner Bros.’ TV operation, Peter Roth.

Well it is dead now and I've never seen an episode

Ruby Rose is a good actor but she just did not have the forceful presence and intimidating aura that you would expect from a member of the Bat family.
Furthermore, they just introduced Bruce Wayne during the batwoman finale in one of the most unique ways possible and should change the show into a live action Batman show.

I have a few episodes of the season left but i remember when they cast her wondering how having a mentally unstable lead would affect the show.
The actress playing Alice is far more talented and interesting.

People still watch these shows after Smallville?

Only Batman is badass enough to yell at Batwoman like this.

There's demand for it and the market is the market.

Rose is trash, the concept was trash, the writing was trash, the acting was trash.

Do these shows even come close to Smallville?

Not surprising considering she suffered a serious neck injury doing one of the stunts.

That entire episode was full of WTF moments.
For those of you who don't watch the show, Alice kills Mouse (the male version of Batman villain Jane Doe), then gives Tommy Elliot/Hush Bruce Wayne's face.
Here's a thought: Since Beth and Kate Kane are twin sisters, why not make them identical twins and have Rachel Skarsten play them both?
REQUIRING a lesbian role to have a lesbian actor defeats the purpose of ACTING.
Skarsten has already played a gay character pretty convincingly if you ever watched the show Lost Girl (She was Tamsin the Valkyrie)

Legends of Tomorrow is so absurd that it's great.

The more they get into slapstick comedy throughout time, the more they DGAF of the contradictions of time travel they do and near daily aberrations they peform.
They have time traveled so much for the sake of convenience instead of necessity the only reason history is not a big jumbled mess is plot armor and the writers simply will it.
I still enjoy the show because I enjoy the absurdity and John Constantine and Sara's lesbian lover, Ava, are my favorite parts of the show. And Gary as well.

What do you think of the current arc involving Charlie/Chotho?

I’ll bump this thread after the finale tomorrow when I see how/if they resolve it.

Tonight's not the finale. There's 3 more episodes this season including tonight.

Just saw Jeremy from Geeks and Gamer's video. That's epic she up and left, but who can blame here? Trash show and the lead actress nearly gets paralyzed on set... Tip of the hat she stayed the full season.
Never saw one episode, and never will.

Lighten up, Francis. It's Batwoman....woman. It will never be any of those things.
