Interesting and cool they have the TPC Louisiana. I do like that they have a lot of licensed merch and gear. That is probably rife for microtransactions, though. We'll see if they do something similar with a battle pass or you can earn in-game currency.

Graphics look a little less crisp than I'd like, but the courses look okay. I'm interested.

Hopefully they are still working on the graphics. That looked like a ps2 game haha.

Cant wait to see how cluttered with micros this game is going to be

Sucks they took over the Golf Club team to make this. I loved og GC and still play some GC2

The best part of TGC2019 are the user created courses (thousands of them), most of which are far better than what the actual designers of the game put out so I'm not real moved one way or the other by the course list the game comes with. There is actually a really well done TPC Louisiana already made with the LIDAR technology.

My fear is that 2k will make it a microtransaction hell where you can by better attributes like NBA2k. TGC2019 is great because everyone on each platform has the equal attributes (distances, etc) and why TGCTours is so great because its based entirely off skill.

There are also no arcade-like aids like the Tiger Woods games were known for like spin/distance boost, putt preview, etc.

On the surface this looks like a dumbed down version of what we have now in TGC2019 but time will tell. Either way I'm still buying it.

The golf club mechanics were top notch, and the guy who announced was hilarious.

I can’t believe they sold out to 2K, but I guess money talks.

I just purchased TGC2019. What are some of the user created courses you enjoy playing that are pretty accurate? I was hoping someone would have created some local courses (BRCC, LSU, Beaver Creek, City Park South) but I knew that would be a stretch. Has anyone found any local Louisiana courses that are enjoyable and pretty accurate?

Just look up most played courses or hot courses and find some of the ones with most plays.

Or get on the TGC Online Societies and favorite some of the courses you play

Lots of info re: Career Mode In this new trailer

Most comments seem to be panning the lack of personal swing animations and crappy graphics.

After watching myself, I am very skeptical of this game. Career mode will basically make or break it for me. and after seeing that you won’t be able to play as the pros they actually did manage to get licensing for, it will be important the game is rewarding enough for you to play as your own guy. The career mode seems to be a tiered approach where you climb the rankings by beating pros and finally, Justin Thomas at the end. Hope it’s not as lame as it sounds.

I feel like somehow they have less pros now than they had in older games

A ton of people are going to be streaming previews of the game on Twitch this morning at 9. Really excited to see what's new in the designer and how the new difficulty levels are going to play.

Few takeaways I had from the previews yesterday:

-There's 6 difficulty levels with a ton of options within those difficulty levels. The hardest swing difficulty appears to be legitimately challenging. Experienced players shooting in the 90s on it.
-The graphics took a pretty big step forward. The grass textures are way better.
-All plants and trees are global in the designer, and there's a good bit more of everything. Designers are ecstatic.
