We are going to be trashy and head to Orange Beach for the weekend. I plan on stopping at the Alabama Buc-ee's on the way there and probably on the way home.

Anyone been recently and can provide an operational update?

Are the drink machines working including Icee machines?

Are the stores well-stocked?

Any restrictions on number of people allowed in store? Any lines to get in?

Are breakfast tacos and brisket sandwiches still available as grab and go from the middle?

I thank you in advance for your important contribution to our trip planning. Because Baton Rouge is corrupt AF and ruined a chance for a Buc-ee's, and ruined it for the entire state it seems, I got to get my visits in when I can.

What caused the one in BR to fall through? Sucks because it was going to be pretty close to my house.

Business as usual. Extra hand sanitizers. Would it be too much to ask you to post pics/prices of the grills they have for sale outside? I meant to take a pic last week when we drove through.

I can't speak for the Bama Bucee's but the one in Baytown is fully operational with no limit on access.

Went to that one Thursday afternoon. It was pretty slow, and everything was fully operational.

Drove past it on our way home yesterday and it was slammed. Not summer travel season slammed, but much more crowded than it was Thursday when we arrived to the area. There wasn't even a line to check out Thursday, and there was only one other guy in the men's room.

Unlike the Roman Empire, Buc-ee's will never fall

Politics.

I think they blamed it on the flood though, if I remember right.

buc-ees you can walk in like a herd and rumble all around freely.

go to eat at a restaurant, get your hair did, or go to home depot... they have to police the shite out of how you breathe and live life.

Does it really matter? You are going on vacation to the beach and worried about a fricking gas station? bucees is the most overrated business in America IMO

I'll try to remember to do that. I am intending on picking up a few new chairs and some spices.

Just went there on Sunday to get some Beaver Nuggets and trail mix, you would never even know Coronavirus existed except for limited hand sanitizer stations in the bathrooms
