The other threads have gotten so long and I can't tell what's what.

Two dudes with shotguns and no knowledge of a crime tried to make an illegal citizen's arrest and killed a dude.

The cops at the scene wanted to arrest the father and son and the DA overruled them.

Any additional videos don't matter because they have no relationship to the victim's death.

Nothing was going to happen until a video showing their illegal citizen's arrest and shooting was leaked.

It may or may not be him although it looks like him.
He made repeated trips inside that house under construction ( if that was him). He wasn’t seen taken anything if that was him.

Can you link this? The story I read in the Brunswick paper didn’t say that.

This seems to be a fairly rational run down with some good details.

OK. Thanks.

I would guess that close to 100% of adults on this board have "trespassed" inside a house that was under construction. It's a FACT that 100% of Karens have.

It had already been referred to a out of county prosecutor correct?

What we know:

1) he wasn’t wearing Timberlands
2) according to the owner of the property, Arbery was trespassing and didn’t take anything
3) a black person visited the property on other occasions. It’s unclear if that black person is Arbery
4) one time on video the national anthem played outside from a passing car, and Arbery knelt

I may have made up the fourth one.

There were two recusals. One at the behest of the family.

This is why it was aging from what I read.

Where did the trope of the Timberlands come from in the first place?

And the 3rd guy was going GJ instead of charging them.

The second prosecutor, whose son worked for the same office as McMichaels, had declined to prosecute.

Only when it was referred to the GBI did it change. And that only happened when the video leaked.

Someone blew up a still from the video of him running.

Probably the same guy who discovered Schrödinger’s hammer.

Why such a resistance to acknowledging these simple facts?

It was definitely wrong what happened and the suspects should serve time. But dont make up some stupid fricking story like he was out for an afternoon jog just to try and stir race relations. fricking people are pathetic

Dude was just getting into some crimes.

Got confronted after the fact.

Assaulted guy with a shotgun.

Didn’t workout like either party thought it would.

Without a leaked video, the killing would have been swept under the rug. That's very likely racially-tinged whether you like it or not. It has nothing to do with an afternoon jog or Timberlands.

But since you bring it up: what are you alleging he was doing?

Maybe he was taking a shite. Sometimes running will bring that sudden need to find a place to pop a squat. I have used porta potties at construction sites before in an emergency.
