Doing some cleaning of the attic for my dad and currently going through the toys to see what is still good.

Definitely keeping these. Anybody had Darda cars in the late 80s early 90s? All still work and show that German toys were the best ever made already wrapped the C4 Corvette, F1 cars and chromed dunes buggy. The red Mercedes is still the fastest after all these years

What are some toys you kept from your childhood.

No pics, but I still have my GI Joe Adventure Team Mobile Support Vehicle from 1971. Up until last fall - I also had the games, Paddle Pool and Gnip-Gnop...but they were too far gone to save after years in the attic.

All in poor condition as they were heavily played with it:
The original Optimus Prime
Silverhawks hawk and spaceship
Beastwars dragon Megatron
Castle Greyskull
Thunder Cats Lair
White Power Ranger’s Lion Zord
MicronMachines city bus
Some 80’s GI Joes including the tank and a couple cobra vehicles
Tons of 90’s marvel and batman action figures

We used to have all the vintage Star Wars toys from the 80’s (Millennium Falcon, the C3PO case filled wit action figures), but my oldest brother who owned them gave them to a friend who could repair and restore them.

At one time, we had so much more stuff, but in the early to mid 2000’s, my mom purged a ton of it (all without asking or telling us), giving it away to her friends’ grandchildren or donating to be sold at church fairs. So, what was left was mostly the stuff in poor condition.

I still have my electric football set from 77 season super bowl. Had the Viking, and Raiders as the two teams. I bought the Saints in 79. I loved putting those number stickers on them. Chuck Muncie, Henry Childs, Wes Chandler, Tony Galbreath, Archie, Conrad Dobler, Rich Mauti, Durland Moore and my favorite Tom Myers.
Just like this one. STill in pretty good shape.

I'm pretty sure we still have my brothers Computer Football game from the 70's also. It had overlays for other sports. We played the hell out of that game.

I have some old brio train track that is waiting for my kid to get old enough.

He plays with old Duplo blocks now that were mine when I was a kid.

I also have a LOT of legos for when he's ready.

Most of my toys from when I was a kid disappeared, although I bought all my He-Man toys. I still have my original hot wheels collection.

I still have all the legos I collected over the years stored somewhere. Talking Space Police, Blaktron, Ice Planet 2002. All the cool old space sets.

Probably have over 300,000 pieces in total
