Anyone keeping up with what's going on in Assumption Parish?

Apparently the school board voted out a very popular Superintendent for political reasons, and people are losing their shite.

No, but it'd be nice if this board discussed more local Louisiana political issues and less loonieness.

Anything to slow down the educational system so it doesn't expose the lethargic bottom rung of the ladder is what you're seeing.

Haha. Funny however in the context of “Assumption Parish” it’s based on Catholic theology (like most parish names in Louisiana) Jesus and Mary being assumed into heaven.

You want some good school board fights. go to Monroe City School board meetings. School Board member and Mother of a Murderer Ms. Shellings is a real treat.
