I was pretty excited for it, considering how bad the “I’m with you” one sucked. Their run from Californication to By the Way to Stadium Arcadium was incredible. Then I hated “I’m with you”.

I like “The Getaway” and “Goodbye Angels” but the rest of that album sucked. They tried to do too much of a black soul music vibe thing for it and the album just wasn’t good. I’m just going to summize that Josh just wasn’t the same creative force that Frusciante was/is (Captain Obvious) but now that JF is back into the fold; I hope they can re establish their groove.

Incubus- literally everything after “a crow left of the murder” they fell off a cliff. Brandon Boyd thinks he’s Ghandi

Modest Mouse “Strangers to Ourselves” (not so much a bad album but just wasn’t the quality I’ve come to expect. Couple good songs. Felt like Brock wasn’t even that into it. Not inspired. Just kinda meh)

Their self titled album in 2006 was great, IMO. Many quality tunes on that one.

But that's the only one after Yield.

I still haven't listened to the new one. Whiny bitches.

Dreams of a samurai is a good song. Chad goes wild on it plus flea has an awesome odd time bass groove

I do not like the songs. Hell, Almusic only gave it 3.5 stars. This after 3 straight 5s, then a 4.5 in Aja, which is a crime.
